Manufacturing Engineer

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare production drawings by 2D drafting or 3D modelling using CAD software for design and build-to-print jobs.Carry out manufacturing process planning using ERP.Prepare Bills of Material from customer drawings or in-house designs.Provide technical support during fabrication phase in areas of machining, welding, and assembly.Provide technical support for outsourced parts fabrication.Collaborate with cross functions to ensure on-time delivery, quality and cost goals are met.Participate in continuous improvement projects as part of the lean manufacturing transformation.To use engineering tools to test and implement efficiencies in quality, manufacturing, assembly, and testing.To provide customer support/liaise/coordinate/follow-up with external customers on assigned projects.To monitor project deliverables.To facilitate collection of customer requirements during RFQ stage for design projects.Any other duties as and when assigned by the Management.
