Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer required for an eyewear manufacturer based in Brentford. The ideal candidate will have some experience in a similar role but industry experience is not essential. Manufacturing Engineer Position Overview Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for eyewear production. Analyse current processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products. Design, develop, and maintain manufacturing equipment and tooling. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure optimal functionality of machinery. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment to enhance production capabilities. Manufacturing Engineer Position Requirements Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (3+ years) in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in the eyewear or consumer goods industry. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and continuous improvement methodologies.
