Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review engineering drawings for manufacturability, identifying potential issues and recommending design changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to ensure that components are designed for efficient and cost-effective manufacturing.
  • Utilize your understanding of machining processes to provide input on the selection of materials, tooling, and manufacturing methods.
  • Work closely with production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and optimize processes for improved efficiency and quality.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in manufacturing

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a strong understanding of machining processes.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software and manufacturing process simulation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
