Responsible for designing, implementing and reviewing the process, procedures and equipment involved
in the manufacturing process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recommends manufacturing equipment and processes designed to be efficient, cost-effective, and to promote quality and reliability.
- Assesses current equipment and processes, identifies, recommends and implements changes in the manufacturing process.
- Helps to identify, troubleshoot and implement process changes to improve both quality and production output.
- Researching automation techniques, testing new systems for productivity improvements and planning factory layouts to optimize production output.
- Collecting and analyzing production and quality assurance data, recommending and implementing action plans based on operational performance data.
- May train personnel in equipment usage and processes.
Qualifications:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of applications for CNC programming.
- Understanding and knowledge of assembly and inspection methods.
- Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.
- Quality systems and standards.
- Great attention to detail and a results driven approach.
- Organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office Suite applications and ERP systems (Oracle or equivalent).
Education Requirements:
- Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
- Technical Educational Background
Years Of Experience:
- 5 Years Manufacturing Engineering experience in machining and assembly environments.
