Job Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of multiple projects, from the delivery of rate-capable solutions to ensuring product quality and process efficiency. You will work closely with operations leaders, programme management, and customers to support the delivery of world-class manufacturing solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage technical projects, ensuring successful delivery of solutions within time, cost, and quality constraints.
  • Apply engineering knowledge to interpret and meet engineering design requirements.
  • Support the design, installation, and commissioning of production solutions and equipment.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and cut costs.
  • Review and assess process data to implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and delivery of projects.
  • Provide technical training to operations teams and support process optimization.
  • Conduct process development trials and testing in line with DoE methodologies.


Manufacturing Engineer

Essential Skills/ Qualifications

  • A HND or degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical subject.
  • Proven experience in delivering complex manufacturing solutions across multiple disciplines, such as machining, surface treatments, and assembly.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing system design, including discrete event simulation.
  • Strong experience working in cross-functional teams, managing competing priorities effectively.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and process optimization using Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • A passion for high-quality engineering and a commitment to excellence.
