Manufacturing Engineer - Relocation Assistance - Bonus

Description: The Manufacturing Engineer is a vital member of the Franklin facility production team! This role regularly leads engineering projects to completion in a timely, efficient, & cost-effective manner. They also are an adept problem solver, finding solutions to operational problems using a systematic analysis process by leveraging industry standard methodologies & determining the assignable cause. They then implement a robust, data-based solution; identifying the systemic root causes & recommending actions to prevent problem reoccurrence. As a leader within the production team, the Manufacturing Engineer is always seeking out & identifying opportunities for improvement. This role is in also in charge of selecting manufacturing equipment which meets the Lasko Products manufacturing specifications (as well as project/program needs). Life Insurance and Supplemental Life Plan Professional Development Opportunities Qualifications: 4 year degree in Engineering 3+ years working in a manufacturing setting, preferably plastic injection molding & sheet metal forming (press/stamping, rolling, bending, etc.) Strong project management experience & ability to lead teams, with scope ranging from day-to-day improvements up to larger CapEx level projects. Experience troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics Experience using SolidWorks / CAD as communication tools (Read drawings/2D Layouts) Strong understanding of PLC & Read Ladder Logic preferred Exposure to sheet metal bending/forming Understanding of GD&T & proper use of metrology equipment Experience using DMAIC or 8D problem solving, and related tools (5Y, Corrective Action, etc.) PFMEA Experience Functional understanding of the injection molding process Flexibility in work schedule as business conditions dictate Robotic Automation (KUKA & ABB) & dimensional control / GD&T experience strongly preferred Why Lasko?
