Manufacturing Engineering Technician II

Job DescriptionJob Description

As a MET2, you will be responsible for the repair, troubleshooting, calibration, and preventative maintenance of automated manufacturing equipment. Collaborate with engineers to refine manufacturing processes, working effectively under limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize PLC for electronic device diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Perform electrical tasks, including circuit identification/repair up to 480 volts, wiring, and interpreting schematics.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot vacuum systems, sensors, and heating systems.
• Possess knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic mechanical skills.

Requirements:

• Technical degree or certificate.
• Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in PLCs, pneumatic adjustments, and engineering testing procedures.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work professionally in a team-oriented environment.
• Understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and overtime as required.

Physical Demands:

• Regular movement throughout the facility.
• Manual operation of equipment, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities for close inspection, color determination, and depth judgment.
