Assist Maintenance Supervisor in keeping production equipment operational, maintaining
physical systems in factory, and assisting in set up and relocation of production equipment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor by performing a variety of duties as directed such as oiling
machines, following prescribed schedule, obtaining tools, materials, or supplies, assisting
with adjustments, replacing fuses & light bulbs, positioning work, and holding ladders,
erecting scaffolding, or lift equipment.
• Perform routine operations to service and maintain building production equipment,
following prescribed procedures. Make repairs such as replacing lighting, fuses, plumbing
and worn parts.
• Check & clean building plumbing, electrical contacts, and low voltage circuit wires. Disassemble
& clean parts and repair as required.
• Oil machines and equipment, assist with building repairs, move office equipment, paint,
clean boilers & perform similar operations as directed.
• Repair and maintain a variety of production and building equipment such as lathes, drill
presses, punch presses, welders, hand power tools, boilers and related heating and
refrigeration units, compressors and boilers, service piping, sewers, and plumbing fixtures.
• Inspect and service electric and electronic controls, circuits, and panels periodically. Bend
and install conduit, pull, and terminate wires, check and clean motors, relays & contacts.
• Perform carpentry and related work involved in maintaining buildings. Disassemble, select
repair procedures, and repair or replace worn or defective parts using hand and hand
power tools and simple machine tools.
• Assist in moving, set-up and installation of equipment.
