Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic III

We are seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic to join our team! You will maintain and repair industrial production and processing machinery.

Responsibilities:

  • Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery and pipeline distribution systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment with minimal lost time
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance 
  • Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion 
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Assist the Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor in the creation of written work procedures, guidelines, training materials, other departmental resources as requested or outlined by management.
  • Electrical: complete electrical projects independently or in collaboration with other EMF department members, including:
    • Work on low voltage circuits
    • Work on 120 volt single phase circuits
    • Work on 208 volt single and 3 phase circuits
  • Plumbing: complete plumbing projects independently or in collaboration with other EMF department members, including work on valves, pipes, pressurized lines, and faucets. Communicate with affected employees around work areas
  • HVAC: complete basic HVAC projects as directed, such as changing filters and managing changes to building thermostats as directed
  • Elevated work: complete occasional, basic projects at elevated heights or elevated work stations; includes certification and safe operation of scissor lift and adherence to all fall protection requirements
  • Soldering pipes: complete soldering projects as directed by Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor or the Director of Engineering, Facilities & Maintenance
  • Welding: complete ARC welding projects (steel, stainless steel, and/or TIG) as directed by Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor or the Director of Engineering, Facilities & Maintenance

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in machinery or other related fields
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
  • Ability to handle physical workload
