Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you'll oversee the efficient functioning of the maintenance department, ensuring equipment reliability, implementing continuous improvement strategies, and conducting training programs for maintenance associates.
Essential Functions:
- Assign and coordinate maintenance tasks for associates, including work orders and proactive maintenance.
- Collaborate with maintenance team to identify resource needs and ensure completion of tasks.
- Improve equipment reliability by optimizing inventory stocks, identifying critical spare parts, and implementing corrective actions.
- Proactively address equipment issues to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Prioritize and schedule maintenance work on equipment to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
- Conduct training programs for maintenance associates.
- Implement proactive maintenance programs for plant equipment.
- Enforce standardization of parts and equipment.
- Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience required.
- 7 years of experience in manufacturing industry (preferably plastic industry).
- 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Proficiency in time management and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment.
Additional Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
