We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our growing team.

Position Summary:

As a Quality Engineer at Nucentra Solutions LLC, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will collaborate closely with the manufacturing, engineering, and quality control teams to implement and monitor quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control plans for manufacturing processes related to acoustic enclosures, power generator packaging, exhaust systems, liquid storage tanks, power skids, and E-houses.
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for non-conformance issues.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of products and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve quality performance.
  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and certifications in accordance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to improve design, manufacturing, and inspection processes.
  • Lead training sessions for production staff on quality control methods and best practices.
  • Manage supplier quality assurance and conduct vendor audits as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within sheet metal fabrication, power systems, or related manufacturing industries.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and experience in auditing and certification processes.
  • Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and FMEA.
  • Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar is a plus.

Certifications (optional but ):

  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ)

Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based with frequent interaction on the factory floor.
  • Regular coordination with manufacturing teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues.
  • Occasional travel to supplier sites or for customer quality audits may be required.
