Marine Craft Maintenance Engineer - Ship

Eram Talent is seeking a Marine Craft Maintenance Engineer to join our team, specializing in the maintenance and repair of marine vessels and craft. The ideal candidate will ensure that all marine equipment and systems are functioning properly, adhering to safety and quality standards to support marine operations. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of marine craft, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in marine systems. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize operational efficiency and minimize downtime. Coordinate with other engineering teams and departments to streamline repair and maintenance activities. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed on marine craft. Provide technical support and insights to improve marine craft reliability and performance. Participate in the training of junior engineering staff and share best practices. Requirements Bachelor Degree in Marine Engineering. Marine Chief Engineer COC from a recognized maritime academy. Membership of Saudi Council of Engineers. (15) years' experience on board merchant ships includingat least 3 years as Chief Engineer. Excellent knowledge & enough experience in dry docking of offshore vessels. High level engineering expertise in the resolution of marine engineering problems. Good technical instructor / team player with a hands-on mentality. Good command of English language to read and write technical reports Strong knowledge of marine propulsion systems, electrical systems, and marine safety regulations. Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing issues in marine craft. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed.
