MillTechs client is growing and seeking Marine Geoscience Consultants to join their team.



The company is growing at an impressive rate due to the high demands for their services in Subsea Cabling consultancy.



Your responsibilities as the Marine Geoscience Consultant will include the following:



* Perform desktop studies to identify the optimum routes for submarine cables



* Analyse bathymetric, geophysical, and geotechnical data to assess seabed conditions and potential hazards



* Review data and perform quality control



* Work closely and manage Contractor teams



* Linear asset ground modelling



* Conduct cable burial assessment and reviews on existing assets



* Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations summarizing results and recommendations



* Represent the company at client meetings and industry exhibitions & conferences



To succeed in this position the ideal Marine Geoscience Consultant will have the following:



* Proven background in Marine Geosciences



* Technical ability in GIS



* A good understanding of developments in submarine cable engineering principles, industry standards, and best practices



* Able to manage key stakeholders and a multi-functional team



* Degree educated in Geoscience or related technical degree



This is a remote position with occasional travel to clients and sites.
