Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Outside Machinists for projects located in the Alameda, CA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $34/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Installation & overhaul of shipboard machinery
• Removal, repair, build, install and alignment of propellers, shafts, bearings, engines, generators and anchor windlasses
• Construction & repair of tugboats, ferries, coast guard cutters, cruise ships, pilot boats, barges and marine vessels of all kinds
• Other tasks as assigned

Responsibilities

• Must have OSHA 10 maritime
• Fire-watch certification
• Must be able to pass a drug screen
• Must have respirator fit certificate
