Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Structural Welders for projects located in Newport News, VA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $45/hour based on experience and skill level plus $120/per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

• Heating with Oxygen/Propane Heating Torch
• Air Carbon Arc Gouging
• Other tasks assigned

Responsibilities

• Must be able to pass a weld test
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations relative to the shipbuilding industry
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience
• Must have NNS or Naval Shipyard experience
• Experience working in a physically demanding environment shipboard sub-assemblies ladders staging etc
