JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Marketing & Communications Project Manager to oversee the work of our copywriter and graphic designer. In this role, you will ensure the smooth execution of creative projects across multiple channels while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines. You will be responsible for managing creative processes, aligning resources with organizational goals, and keeping communication flowing smoothly between team members and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a skilled project manager with a passion for creative work and a strong ability to lead teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and support the copywriter and designer in the successful execution of creative projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and deadlines.

Develop detailed project timelines, budgets, and schedules for all creative projects, keeping the team on track and ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.

Serve as the main point of contact between the creative team and other departments, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements.

Manage the creative workflow, from project initiation through to final delivery, ensuring that all assets meet the quality standards and branding guidelines.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements, define objectives, and establish priorities, while ensuring creative output remains aligned with the organization’s mission and voice.

Oversee the review and approval process, coordinating feedback from internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring that revisions are handled in a timely and organized manner.

Provide ongoing mentorship and support to the Marketing and Communications team, fostering a collaborative and motivating work environment.

Monitor project progress and handle any obstacles or delays by proposing solutions and adjusting resources as needed.

Ensure consistency across all creative projects, maintaining a strong and cohesive brand .

Help prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing urgent tasks with longer-term planning.

Regularly report on project status to senior leadership and provide updates on timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Qualifications:
-
3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a creative or non-profit environment.

Strong understanding of creative processes and the ability to oversee both design and written content creation.

Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with both creative and non-creative professionals.

Excellent organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships and communicate project goals and status updates.

Ability to manage budgets and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday, Basecamp) to track progress and communicate with team members.

Ability to provide constructive feedback to creative professionals, fostering growth and development.

Qualifications:

Experience working with non-profit organizations or mission-driven teams.

Familiarity with digital and print production processes, including working with designers and copywriters on final deliverables.

Knowledge of design and writing principles, allowing you to effectively guide and support creative output.

Experience with budgeting and resource allocation for creative projects.

Background in marketing, communications, or related fields.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, DOCUMENTATION, AND SAFETY

Sufficient physical ability to work in an office setting and operate office equipment; the employee is regularly required to bend, stoop, kneel, and at times may be required to lift 25+ pounds and can be exposed to indoor, outdoor temperatures and various living situations. Must be able to operate motorized vehicles with a valid license.

Required domestic and international travel documentation and vaccinations for entry into foreign countries may be necessary to perform this role - This role may be in high-risk zones and require documentation and medical clearance by various governments to enter disaster areas with significant public health risks.

Exceptional understanding of risk management policies and best practices

Adhere to WTW’s safety action plan and procedures.

This position will involve a combination of office-based tasks and fieldwork. Occasional travel may be required to visit communities and attend meetings or events.

Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to accommodate community outreach or program deadlines.
