Job Title: Master Scheduling and Demand Planning Sr Mgr
Location: Ontario, Pine Bluff, or Florida
Reports To: Vice President of SIOP – Sales, Inventory, & Operations Planning
Job Summary:
The Master Scheduling and Demand Planning Sr Mgr is responsible for the demand planning and master scheduling to ensure optimal inventory levels, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role will lead collaboration with cross-functional departments to develop the order routing plan for Canada and US customer demand, balancing with production capability across 8 North American plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demand Planning:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales forecast input.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align demand forecasts with business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze demand patterns to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Master Scheduling:
- Create and manage the master production schedule to ensure alignment with demand forecasts and production capability.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to balance supply and demand.
- Optimize scheduling processes to improve production efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Manage scheduling for Canada and US customer demand, coordinating production across 8 plants.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate and present regular reports on demand forecasts and production schedules, tied to financials.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of planning and scheduling activities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in demand planning, master scheduling, or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Manufacturing floor and office-based environment.
- Exposure to high-voltage testing areas, machinery, and production operations.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed in testing and production areas.
