Thesis topic: “ Analysis and Characterization of Wide Bandgap Devices for efficient power conversion ” During this experience, you will be able to: Play a key role in shaping a cutting-edge verification tool (I.e. deep learning) while acquiring hands-on experience in the laboratory; Collaborate in characterizing GaN, SiC, and Si power solutions and their performance in combination with different driving strategies; Work closely with a team of experts with different skill sets such as system engineers, gate driver experts, and technology developers in order to define the basis of the next generation of high-efficiency power modules. You are a team player who is eager to learn new skills and is curious about new systems and technologies. Additionally, your proactive nature empowers you to autonomously explore various solutions, demonstrating initiative in problem-solving endeavors. You are best equipped for this task if you: Are pursuing a Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering , Power Electronics , or similar fields; Have some knowledge of simulation tool s – is a plus; Have previous lab experience – is a plus; Are proficient in English .
