Material Logistics Coord

Airswift is looking for a Material Logistics Coordinator to work with a major Oil and Gas company in Midland, TX on a 1-year contract position.





The Materials Logistics Coordinator plans and manages the materials supply for a well-maintenance project. They work with a team of engineers, technicians, and other professionals to ensure that material is available when and where it is needed, and that it is moved efficiently and effectively.








Job Responsibilities:


               

• Responsible for all trucking dispatching/scheduling in system for assigned regions;
  
• Manages requests from field for delivers/pick-up/changes;
  
• Monitors all jobs in system to ensure successful delivery;
  
• Coordinates communications between supply yards, requesters, and trucking contractors to ensure timely delivery of correct materials.
  

Skillset:

• Proficient computer skills
  
• Ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines (engineering, operations, support)
  
• Downhole or workover experience related to oilfield is a plus
  
• Trucking or logistics background is a plus
  
• Inventory management is a plus
