Key Responsibilities for Material Planning Specialist

• Plan, schedule, and manage material requirements to ensure the seamless continuation of production operations.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments to monitor material availability and minimize production disruptions.
• Analyze forecasts and adjust materials procurement strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Identify and address any potential issues in the supply chain that could impact production timelines.
• Prepare detailed reports on material usage, inventory levels, and procurement activities.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is .
• 3-5 years of experience in material planning or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail in managing complex data sets.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
