ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

· Inventory Management: analyze material demands, establish reorder points, ensure constant

supply, ensure system inventory and pricing accuracy, issue spot buy purchase orders and blanket purchase orders to suppliers.

· Location Designation: Assigns storage location to all materials under your responsibility (PFEP).

· Product Identification: Ensures all items received are clearly labeled/marked with CLC part#. Researches unmarked items and labels with proper part# identification.

· FIFO: Manages inventory on a first-in, first-out basis.

· Cycle Counting: Performs cycle counts as needed and follow cycle counts adjustments work instruction.

· Inventory Accuracy: Maintains accurate inventory records.

· Invoice Discrepancy: Resolve discrepancies regarding invoice pricing and goods received to

close out purchase order.

· Supplier Selection: participates in the selection of a supplier, based on price, quality, and delivery.

· Supplier Database: Updates supplier in database for procurement and for new product development.

· Supplier Monitoring: Participates in supplier monitoring program and review.

· Standard Work: Follow standard work for this function.

· Cross Training: Support other Purchasing Analyst by cross-training to cover/assist when needed.

· Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

· Must have experience, knowledge and or skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

· Demonstrate strong mathematical skills.

· General typing skills.

· Strong problem solving skills

· Excellent communication skills

· Ability to interface with office and manufacturing personnel at all levels of the organization

· Possess a valid driver’s license.

· Excellent organizational skills and problem solving ability.

· Detail oriented

· Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to work independently.

· Ability to work generally from 7 am start time to a 4pm - Monday through Friday, sometimes on Saturday.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associates Degree in Business, or a minimum of two years related experience and/or training in purchasing/procurement or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

SKILLS: Ability to write reports and business correspondence; ability to effectively read and interpret blue prints; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals, groups of associates, management representatives, suppliers and customers. Ability to utilize computerized word processing and e-mail systems in the day-to-day functions of the job.
