Role Overview:



Our client seeks an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team. The ideal candidate should possess an M&E background with significant experience in the Residential sector. Strong communication skills and a collaborative, professional approach are essential for effective interaction with both the commercial team and clients. The role will primarily focus on new-build residential and mixed-use commercial projects within London’s zones 1-3.



Key Responsibilities:



* Develop comprehensive project cost plans following project handover from the Estimating Department.



* Conduct thorough reviews of Order Documentation prior to approval by company Directors.



* Prepare and issue Subcontractor Order Documentation.



* Manage monthly project cost reports to align with Directors’ meetings.



* Procure specialist mechanical and electrical subcontractors.



* Collaborate with the Project Team to ensure variations and additional contract elements are recorded, priced, and submitted to clients.



* Prepare monthly project valuations and final account documentation.



* Oversee and negotiate final accounts with specialist M&E subcontractors.



Candidate Requirements:



* Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor.



* Demonstrated expertise in new-build residential projects.



* Degree or equivalent professional qualification.



* 5-10 years of senior-level experience, with the ability to lead a Commercial team and work independently.
