M&E Site Manager
Job Description
Are you an experienced engineer or site manager with experience of MEICA projects? Are you confident assessing MEICA Designs and helping to plan on site requirements for projects? Are you considering your options or seeking a new challenge?
Would you like to work on a long term assignment with a client delivering some interesting and challenging works from concept to hand over on a large framework?
​We are actively seeking a M+E Engineer or site manager to join our clients existing team. In this role you will engage in early contract works, liaising with designers ensuring planned projects are suitable and fit the requirement from the client brief, plan and manage the installation of these MEICA works and then commission and handover the works back to the client. The works are across the Essex and Anglia region.

Our client is a contractor who tends to be involved in most types of large-scale UK projects, delivering sustainable, innovative and expert solutions to their clients. They are offering a long term role, paying a competitive day rate for the right person.

Responsibilities:

- Regularly producing reports to update senior managers
- Coordinating and planning the creation of assets and delivery
- Reviewing designs and drawings and having the ability to improve/alter to improve designs and drawings
- Managing sub contractors
- Delivering commercial and technical analysis in the hand over stage
- Commissioning works as an when they are complete

The ideal candidate will have:

- A relevant degree or post graduate certification is ideal but not essential
- Able to display previous experience in a similar role working on MEICA projects.
- Previous experience with a main contractor, working on water processing projects.
