M&E Site Manager – Fire Alarm & Lighting Upgrades (Student Accommodation)\nLocation: Newcastle upon Tyne\nEmployer: Red Rock Consultants, in partnership with an established M&E business\n\nRed Rock Consultants are working with a well-established M&E business to find an experienced M&E Site Manager for a student accommodation project in Newcastle upon Tyne. This role will focus on fire alarm and lighting upgrades within the student accommodation sector.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Overseeing M&E installations, specifically fire alarms and lighting upgrades.\n\n * Managing the project on-site, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.\n\n * Collaborating with electrical and mechanical teams, with a focus on electrical work and an understanding of mechanical systems (including sprinkler systems and sanitary ware installations).\n\nIdeal Candidate:\n\n * Electrically biased, with a good understanding of mechanical aspects.\n\n * Previous experience in student accommodation projects is .\n\n * Must hold an SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and First Aid certification.\n\nIf you are an experienced M&E Site Manager looking to work on a key project, we want to hear from you!\n\nHow to Apply:\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a professional and supportive team.
