The Forklift Mechanic will perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot, diagnose, identify, and repair forklifts and other warehouse equipment at customer sites. Complete all required documentation electronically in the time frame provided. The Forklift Mechanic will be required to keep an inventory of parts and tools. This person will work with the Parts team to ensure you have the correct parts and documentation. In this role, you will be responsible for communicating with multiple people; excellent communication skills emphasizing courteous and expert customer service are required. You will be responsible for these duties in a safe and timely manner.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Forklift Mechanic, with electric, IC, and Propane experience. Models include Crown, Unicarrier, Yale, Hyster, Toyota or Raymond.
- or 3 years of Mechanic Experience
- Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment required.
- Experience repairs masts, cylinders, and transmissions
- Ability to use voltmeters, ohm meter, and the ability to read electrical schematics required.
- You must have basic mechanics tools such as wrenches, sockets, etc. (Company will provide specialty tools, compressors, etc.)
- Hourly rate based on experience
- Valid Driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
