Key Responsibilities:

As a Midas technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Perform diagnostics and testing on various vehicle systems, including cooling, starting & charging, A/C, and engine.
• Conduct cooling system testing and radiator replacements.
• Perform muffler repairs and exhaust replacements.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance, oil changes, and courtesy inspections.
• Conduct tire repairs, installations, steering & suspension, and alignments.
• Utilize shop equipment, including lifts, tire change equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools, efficiently and safely.
• Follow all safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.
• Test drive vehicle to make sure vehicle meets all safety requirements before returning it to the customer.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, while also having experience working well in a team environment.
• Strong diagnostic skills for a variety of automotive systems.
• Experience with both foreign and domestic vehicles.
• Possession of personal tools is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is a plus.
• Valid drivers license.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bending, reaching, and walking.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
