Butler Tool, a leader in precision manufacturing with over 80 years of industry experience, is looking for a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team! If you have a passion for assembling complex machinery and thrive in a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect role for you.

Must have own tools

1st shift, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Collect all components required for each assembly task
  • Install bearings, bushings, and other key parts into machine components
  • Assemble large and complex equipment made of multiple sub-assemblies
  • Follow assembly drawings to ensure precise builds
  • Inspect assemblies to guarantee proper fit and function
  • Communicate any issues or delays to management
  • Mount mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems onto machines
  • Rotate through various production tasks and conduct quality inspections
  • Prepare finished products for shipment and maintain a clean, orderly workspace

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly is required
  • Experience working with hand and power tools
  • Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and assembly drawings
  • Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to use drill presses and hydraulic/manual presses
  • Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a critical thinking mindset
  • Drive for continuous improvement and willingness to learn
