Job Description:

The Mechanical Assembler & Warehouse Support role plays a vital role within our organization supporting both our traditional distribution business as well as our value-add, integration division.  On the distribution side of the business, this individual will help with pneumatic sub-assemblies (i.e. manifold builds, air prep assemblies, cylinder assemblies, and other custom pneumatic solutions), while also helping with the day-to-day shipping and receiving and management of inventory.  For our Integration Division, this role would primarily be responsible for the assembly of 80/20 aluminum framing.  Our Integration Division designs, engineers, and builds small scale automation systems, VFD and electrical control panels, and 80/20 frame assemblies for a wide variety of applications, like workstations, machine frames, and guarding.

Responsibilities:

• Physical mechanical assembly and build of aluminum frames for workstations, machine frames, guarding, or workstations using labeled drawings for the completed assembly
• Build pallets or crates for freight shipment of large frames, systems, or kits
• Help with the assembly of pneumatic sub-assemblies or custom solutions
• Conduct quality inspections of products  
• Process, pack, and ship orders accurately
• Maintain inventory of products; restock as needed
• Labeling inventory and assigning bin locations or labeling outgoing products, as needed
• Inspect products for damages; report as needed
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
• Receive and appropriately sort and store incoming products
• Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Proficient with using hand tools for assembly, including Allen wrenches, hex keys, socket wrenches, screw drivers, power tools, rubber mallets, etc.
• Proven work experience in a warehouse setting
• Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipement
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse data/inventory systems
• Detail oriented to be proficient and consistent in receiving inventory and fulfilling orders with minimal to no errors
• Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 40 lbs.
