This well-established engineering business manufactures high-quality bespoke engineered products and is part of a successful global organisation who have supplied a broad range of industries for the last 60 years. As a result of continued growth a new opportunity has been created for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join an experienced team in a role with that will develop your expertise in several valuable aspects of mechanical design.
This is what you’ll be doing.
You’ll play a key role in realising products in line with customer specifications and quality standards, developing viable, cost-effective, and reliable mechanical designs from concept to production. The role will include:
- 3D and 2D modelling
- BOM and mechanical drawing generation
- Design FMEA
- Supporting design/manufacturing problem-solving through production/test
The experience you’ll bring to the team.
- Educated to degree, HND/HNC or equivalent in a mechanical discipline
- 3D and 2D CAD
- Mathematical skills
