Excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer, in a technically interesting role, where you'll be able to see your designs come to life on the shopfloor.

This well-established packaging machine manufacturer works with a range of blue chip clients across the UK, Europe and further afield. They are seeking an additional Mechanical Design Engineer to join their friendly team and develop your career in the long-run.



In this this role, you'll be liaising with the sales/projects team to produce detailed drawings for automated packaging machinery. You'll then create material schedules/part lists to handover to the procurement team. You'll also be able to assist and support during the manufacturing stage and provide technical support when product are being installed at client site.

THE ROLE:

*Detailed designs of automated packaging equipment using SolidWorks

*Overseeing projects from design proposals through to manufacturing

*Full product and industry training



THE PERSON:

*Mechanical Design Engineer

*SolidWorks experience

*Experience working with Packaging equipment or Bespoke/Special Purpose Machinery
