Job Description

• Review and analyze conceptual automotive mechanical sketches, ensuring harmonization between component functionality and spatial allocation.
• Design and model automotive components, establishing definitive criteria based on sketches and specifications; produce conceptual sketches, 2/3D models, and layouts for new automotive designs.
• Develop and refine the Statement of Requirements (SOR) for various components.
• Assess and guide FSS/CAD development processes, using GPDS and test results for technical reviews.
• Engineer Electrical Distribution System (EDS) components for both EV and ICE vehicles, while setting Interface Control Document (ICD) requirements.
• Evaluate and refine preliminary designs for ergonomic optimization; and undertake studies for cost-efficiency, timing, and complexity in the development process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering required.
•  At least 5 years of experience required.
