Mechanical Development EngineerLocation: Kraków (hybrid)Client’s profile: A worldwide leader in providing cutting-edge and sustainable mobility solutions for the automotive industry. Your future responsibilities: In-depth knowledge of Electric Driveline and/or Traditional (ICE) Driveline systems and components.Familiarity with and implementation of Product Development Process (PDP) and Engineering Development Framework (EDF).Ability to understand and interpret component and sub-system design requirements from program leads.Conducting engineering analysis and calculations for components and sub-systems.Submitting CAE requests and guiding component and sub-system analysis.Developing and maintaining DFMEAs for components and sub-systems, using them to define Special Characteristics.Creating ADVP&Rs to validate components and writing lab work orders to guide technicians in component testing.Producing technical design data, including 2D prints and 3D models using NX software.Comprehensive understanding of component drawing requirements, such as tolerances, GD&T, and their application in stack calculations. Performing stack analyses.Supporting Design Release Reviews (DRR) and producing work products (e.g., drawings, specifications) aligned with program schedules.Acting as the technical liaison for discussions with Program Managers, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Supplier Development Engineers.Advocating for component reuse through familiarity with global component families.Reviewing and addressing internal and external change requests.Providing technical support for component issues during validation or warranty stages.Proposing cost-saving measures within relevant component families.Leading benchmarking activities and lessons learned reviews. What we are looking for A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field is required.A minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience is essential.Fluency in English.Experience with EV Driveline and/or ICE Driveline systems is mandatory.Proven expertise in creating and maintaining 2D/3D technical drawings and models using NX CAD software.Demonstrated experience in the design, development, validation, and release of components and/or subsystems.Proven ability to create and maintain DFMEAs.Experience or training in Root Cause Analysis, APQP, DFM/DFAWillingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally.
