The Opportunity

A growing company seeks a motivated professional to join our Engineering and Rebuild Operations team based in Chattanooga, TN. This person will drafting and modeling parts and assemblies for manufacturing, working with vendors, supporting our rebuild team, performing quality control activities for manufactured parts, performing precise measurements for part designs and maintaining drawings and part numbers in our catalogue.

• Someone able to handle shifting priorities, multiple projects and timeline pressure to meet deadlines
• Organized and clear communication

Qualifications

• Proficiency with 2D drafting and 3D modeling a must – Inventor ® experience a plus
• Any experience with scanning of parts to create digital models to translate to  Inventor ®,  a definite plus.  
• Demonstrated experience creating, filing, maintaining technical drawings of manufactured parts, working in an engineering system and assemblies.
• Basic ability in design activity with consideration to clearances, component function and fit, ease of manufacturing, safety, customer needs and expectations
• Experience in verifying parts to prints will be required. QC experience a plus.

• Associate Degree in Mechanical Drafting or equivalent

·         Residing in the Chattanooga area is required.
