Electrical Engineer



Location: West Bromwich, Sandwell



Salary: £35,000 - £45,000



Job Type: Full Time – Permanent



Working Hours:



* Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:00pm



* Friday: 8:00am – 3:00pm



About the Role:



As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and functionality of our production machinery. Your responsibilities will include:



* Promptly responding to production breakdowns.



* Supporting the repair and maintenance of plant machinery, including hydraulics and PLCs.



* Reducing plant breakdowns through proactive maintenance.



* Designing and developing new machinery installations.



* Ensuring Health & Safety standards are upheld.



* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date drawings and paperwork.



* Performing planned maintenance checks.



* Undertaking emergency repairs as necessary.



What We’re Looking For:



* Proven experience as a Mechanical Electrician in the industrial sector, particularly with machinery and plants.



* Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is advantageous.



* Experience with power press machinery is a plus.



* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.



* 18th Edition certification.



* C&G 2391-52 certification.



* CSCS card.



* Strong ability to read and work with engineering/technical drawings.
