What will you be doing?

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will join the Plymouth team to support our activities within the industry sector.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Involved in mechanical system integration and in-service-support for a maritime product
• To understand, clarify, and refine system requirements to the design team
• Analysing of engine and machine data from validation tests and in-field usage
• Integrating, fixing andwriting documentation
• Developing targeted validation activities to focus on specific failure modes and/or technical objectives

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

• Engineering degree or similar
• A Mechanical Engineering approach to product development
• Experience with a Maritime/ Heavy industry environment
• Ability to analyse calculations, failure analysis and testing or similar applications
• Good understanding ofHydraulics/ Pneumatics + Lifting Equipment
• Demonstrated experience in Integration of systems on Maritime Vessels
• Eligibility for security clearance is desirable.
