To what degree does this position affect the business in making decisions, defining or setting strategy?The position would affect new business award by setting strategy with conceptual engineering proposal/review.Is the scope of the role within their home country or global? If the scope is global which country/region will they focus on?The position is required to work together with customers located in not only Korea but also North America, Europe and Asia and also engineers of Harman Global product develop center.What functional or business knowledge will this position apply in day to day activities?Uses CATIA Version 5x CAD SW at highly skilled level to develop product concepts and designs of Harman systems and components.What is this position leading or solving for and in what ways are leadership or problem solving skills demonstrated?Analyzes design requests with consideration to customer requirements and supplier capabilities, and with regards to cost and timing to ensure manufacturability, efficiency and qualityWhat levels and types of technical and interpersonal skills are applied to the role?Communicate customer needs with Global Product Develop Center, including the program manager, the mechanical engineering, the Transduces engineering, worksites in Harman Korea office and at the customer’s facility, as necessary.What HARMAN competencies are most critical to this role Leadership, Change Orientation, Collaboration, Judgement, and Results Driven)?Prepares technical reports and presentations for counterpartner and customers, as necessaryReview sample parts(concept-,prot type-,and production-level)with the customer for immediate feedback and compare components against CAD models and drawings and review and negotiate engineering tolerance with the customerInvestigate and analyze reviewable data to determine design intent and compliance with customer and government specifications and requirements.HARMAN is proud to be an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
