Mechanical Engineer

Job Description :We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to be responsible for the equipment and process design, development, verification, and implementation. The successful candidate will be able to improve industrial equipment and processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, and improve sustainability and quality of product.ResponsibilitiesConfigure, design and optimize industrial processes machines and devices from inception to test production and validationAssess processes, take measurements and interpret data as a feedback to designParticipate in design, run, test and upgrade manufacturing systems and processesDevelop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of outputPerform design simulationsManage cost and time constraintsPerform risk assessmentsProvide complete documentation package and operating instructionsLead and guide process verification and validation activity in collaboration with RA and QETrain and supervise staff on new development processes and technologyJob Requirements:3 to 5 years’ experience in manufacturing engineeringProven work experience in process equipment engineering (medical devices industry is plus)Excellent technical skills. Minimum Intermediate SolidWorks or CAD skillsAbility to research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical equipment, systems, and processes to meet requirements based on fundamental engineering principlesExperience in thermoforming of plastics, laser marking is plusWorking knowledge of CNC machines and processes is plusKnowledge of process related standardsExperience in process simulations (FEA is plus)Working knowledge of process engineering software packages (Geomagic, T-SIM, NCSIMUL, Hypermill, Mastercam)Familiarity with health and safety regulations (FDA Regulations & ISO 13485 Knowledge)Experience in process/equipment validation and documentation is a plusStrong industrial process troubleshooting skills and ability to solve the problemAnalytical thinker with interpersonal skillsTeam playerLANUGUAGE SKILLS: English communications skills, both written and oral are required.Ability to speak, and read a foreign language is a plus, Bilingual preferredAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, and operating procedures. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
