Mechanical Engineer Miejsce pracy: Wrocław Your responsibilities Ensure mechanical installation and mechanical maintenance responsibilities are performed safely Complete assigned mechanical projects and developments from problem definition through installation, commissioning, and training Coordinate and supervise mechanical installations by contractors and outside vendors Develop Planned Maintenance programs for installed equipment Maintain appropriate documentation related to equipment maintenance, processes, and performance. Analyse as appropriate to determine and capitalize on best practices Define needed spare parts inventory to minimize lost production time, and inventory costs Monitor work order and production reports for recurring/developing problems and lead efforts to eliminate problems, troubleshoot major mechanical problems utilizing vendors, consultants and contractors as required Communicate all equipment changes to maintenance team and production partners Our requirements You have any combination of education and experience equivalent to a minimum of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline You have minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role in production environment, preferably in the paper or converting industry, in the company with high standards. Demonstrated commitment of continued professional development required You are proficient with the use of AutoCAD tools, and have good understanding of mechanical components and mechanical planning You have practical experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), you are experienced in leading technical and organizational projects and successful implementation, you have practical TPM knowledge and experience in TPM implementation. (Your professional skill set encompasses working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), the ability to coordinate and oversee both technical and administrative projects, and proficiency in implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices) You possess Electrical certification (SEP D and E as required), Cranes certification (UDT) would be a beneficial asset You have demonstrated analytical / logical problem-solving ability, while demonstrating drive, inventiveness, and initiative, you have advanced communication skills, and the ability to relate well to a wide range of constituents, you are able to function well as a member of a team and a team player You have good practical knowledge of using electronic office tools, knowledge of continual improvement tools and methodologies is a benefit You are fluent in Polish and have very good English language skills, both spoken and written What we offer A meaningful job – We have an inspiring purpose ‘We create a future beyond fossils.
