Mechanical Engineer

Overview Hire Resolve’s client, a leading engineering consultancy in Pretoria, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team.As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for various tasks in the field of mechanical engineering, including design, analysis, and project management.Responsibilities Designing and analyzing mechanical systems and components.Preparing engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.Performing calculations and simulations to ensure system performance and efficiency.Managing projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical guidance.Conducting site inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during the construction or operation of mechanical systems.Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, codes, and regulations. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA.Proficient in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, codes, and standards.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Valid driver’s license.
