Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer position in Orlando, FL is responsible for the mechanical engineering of large-scale projects. This role involves mechanical system design from scratch, including stress calculations, load evaluations, material stress design, failure effects analysis, risk assessment, and system installation and commissioning.

Responsibilities





Design, develop, and implement integrated mechanical assembly systems





Conduct hazard analysis and develop mitigation strategies





Develop and document system configurations and design





Create mechanical design drawings and installation procedures





Analyze system performance, including stress and reliability calculations





Assist with start-up, debugging, and documentation of systems





Lead projects and guide junior engineers and technicians





Act as Project Manager on smaller projects, overseeing budgets and timelines





Qualifications





Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering





5+ years of relevant experience





Understanding of mechanical systems and stress analysis





Experience in managing projects and leading teams

8. Do you have the knowledge of ride system design requirements for attractions involving guest accelerations, reach envelope, ingress/egress, weight, and emergency evacuation analysis and implementation upon control system failure in worst-case scenarios.





9. Are you proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows and Office environments
