Mechanical Engineer

Job Description





As a Mechanical Engineer at Buehler ITW, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and commercialization of Buehler’s portfolio of automated test & measurement equipment. You will collaborate with project teams to deliver new product development projects or improvements to current products.  





Collaborate with Marketing, Operations and Quality teams to develop product requirements and design concepts that meet customer needs. Develop complete product designs utilizing 3D solid modeling software





Create test procedures, oversee the testing, and analyze the results.  Iterate on the design to achieve desired outcomes.





Partner with the Supply Chain team to select appropriate manufacturing processes and vendors that meet cost & quality targets.





Complete product design risk assessments (FMEA and safety risk assessments).





Provide engineering support for commercialized products and implement solutions to solve manufacturing or field issues.





Create, maintain, and release engineering drawings and documentation using engineering change notice process.
