Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer

Full-time (Day Shift) | Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times; on-call rota

\n

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team as they go through a period of growth. You will be responsible for developing, and maintaining manufacturing processes and equipment to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

The Role:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve engineering challenges.
  • \n

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
  • \n

  • Optimise manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • \n

  • Develop and maintain documentation, including specifications, design calculations, and reports.
  • \n

  • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
  • \n

  • Participate in the implementation of new technologies and equipment.
  • \n

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • \n

  • Provide technical support and guidance to production staff.
  • \n

  • Participate in on-call rota for troubleshooting and emergency response.
  • \n

Qualifications:

    \n
  • Educated in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • \n

  • Proficient in maintenance of heavy machinery and production equipment.
  • \n

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • \n

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • \n

  • Ability to mentor Junior Engineers.
  • \n

  • Willingness to grow and develop skills.
  • \n

  • Open to an on call rota system.
  • \n
