Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all our rides and attractions. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a strong background in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.



Key Responsibilities:



* Conducting planned and reactive maintenance on all rides and attractions to ensure optimal performance and safety.



* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults in a timely manner.



* Carrying out inspections and tests in accordance with safety and compliance regulations.



* Collaborating with other departments to minimise downtime and ensure a seamless guest experience.



* Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance and repair work completed.



* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and performance.



About You:



* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Level Engineering.



* Experience in maintenance, ideally within a high-pressure, fast-paced environment (experience in theme parks or leisure industries is a plus).



* Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and compliance.



* Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.



* A flexible approach to working hours, as weekend and evening work is required on a rota basis.
