Mechanical / HVAC and Plumbing Design Engineer Long-Term Government Program in Honolulu, Hawaii

Requirements
Citizenship: Must be a United States and able to provide proof of citizenship (U.S. born or naturalized).
Security Clearance: Possess or be eligible for a SECRET clearance.
Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited Engineering college curriculum (minimum four-year degree).
At least six (6) years of design management and/or design experience, specifically in HVAC and plumbing systems for large-scale projects.
Professional License: U.S. Professional Engineering (P.E.) Registration in the discipline (, but not required).
Technical Expertise:
Broad-based engineering principles and strong technical knowledge in HVAC and plumbing design.
Demonstrated experience in:
Designing HVAC systems for projects exceeding $20M, including variable primary chilled water systems, air-cooled chillers, water-cooled chillers, split D-X, unitary systems, DOAS, VAV, HVAC controls, and VRF systems.
Designing plumbing systems for large-scale projects, including domestic cold and hot water heating systems, compressed air, and medical gas systems.
Designing petroleum, oil, and lubricant (POL) systems for projects exceeding $10M.
Familiarity with DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and proficiency in AutoCAD 2022 and Revit 2021.
Communication Skills:
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
Experience preparing correspondence, detailed reports, and briefing management.
Technology Proficiency:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Adaptable to new software like eCMS, MS Teams, Zoom, and others.
Additional Requirements:
Complete the SF-85-P Questionnaire for Public Trust Positions.
