About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Worcestershire Royal Hospital. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and inspecting mechanical building services to ensure efficient and reliable operation. Ideal for a proactive professional with experience in healthcare or similar environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Planned Maintenance: Carry out routine checks and servicing of mechanical systems.
* Repairs & Fault Finding: Diagnose and fix breakdowns quickly and safely.
* Installations & Upgrades: Assist with system improvements and minor modifications.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all regulations and use appropriate PPE.
* Teamwork & Customer Service: Work collaboratively to minimize disruption.
* On-Call Support: Participate in the emergency response rota as needed.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience: Mechanical maintenance background (healthcare ).
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance Services or equivalent.
* Skills: Knowledge of DHW, LPHW, CHW, ventilation, pipefitting, and steam systems.
* Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and improve system efficiency.
* Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
