The Role
A leading manufacturer of HVAC seeks a Mechanical Engineer to offer technical and design support to their clients on heating and cooling solutions that incorporate renewable technologies, such as heat recovery, heat pumps and other electric energy efficient systems. You will work in a team environment liaising with M&E consultants, contractors, architects, housebuilders and public sector specifiers giving technical advice, designing, planning and quoting on HVAC system selections for both commercial and residential projects.
Experience Required
As this is a Mechanical Engineering position, it will be ideal if you have a mechanical engineering degree or building services or built environment related. Please still apply if you have an engineering background and/or other HVAC qualifications along with experience within HVAC whether heating or cooling, covering air conditioning, refrigeration, chillers, heat pumps, heat networks, heat recovery, plumbing and piping. It will be an advantage if you have knowledge on heat pumps such as ASHP's or mechanical ventilation such as MVHR and have experience performing mathematical calculations including thermal, heat loss, heat gain, load, pressure drops and volumetrics.

The Package
Initial indications by the client are a salary range of between £30,000 and £40,000 with bonus depending on your level of experience and suitability for the role. This substantial package also includes health care, dental insurance, pension scheme, gym and sports / social club scheme.
