Mechanical Engineer 4 (Pipe Stress)
Working independently, provides oversight and expert technical guidance on moderate to highly complex engineering designs involving piping system hydraulics and pump system hydraulics including hydraulic modeling and calculations, equipment vendor coordination, development of detailed design drawings and specifications, and construction submittal reviews. Successful candidate will have demonstrated experience on below listed areas. •Detailed mechanical design experience for water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance system. •Large pump station design and large diameter pipeline design. •Specialized in pump selections and developing mechanical specifications. •Design implementation of rotating equipment and process treatment equipment •Surge analysis and design will be added advantage •Pipe stress analysis and pipe support design and drawings •Experience using CAESAR II •Ability to generate and understand P&ID's •Familiar with the principles of energy auditing, and experience with energy modeling software
