Job summaryAdecco's client is a leading US company whose products are industrial machinery. Job Responsibilities As the Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:· Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, design fixtures for manufacturing quality control standards, or product design, materials and parts.· Designing 3D & 2D mechanical drawings and BOM for production.· Programming, setup, maintain CNC and Plastic molding machines.· Set up the process and improvement of manufacturing mechanical parts.· Optimize and save material and spare parts at workshop.· Evaluates and resolves production issues, technical feasibility and design optimization.· Resolves problems using solutions that involve new techniques, technologies.· Performs routine engineering solutions for design problems that require strength of materials, interchangeability, manufacturing methods and cost reduction.· Support for production in term of job request.· Observe safety and housekeeping at workstation.· Perform other tasks as assigned. Experience requirementsEducation· University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplineExperience· At least 4 years working experiences about CNC machinery.· Have experience in CNC programming.· Have experience in machine maintenance activities.Skills· Analytical thinking and problem solving skills.· Good interpersonal skills, ability to effectively manage the relationship with other teams· Reading & analyze Technical drawing interpretation, 3D modelling, engineering documents.· Ability of self-studying on new technology and manufacturing process as CNC Machining, Plastic molding; etc.· Supplier development - capable of providing guidance and/or recommendations· Good at Mechanical software: AutoCAD, Solid Works (or any 3D software for designing), MS Office & Internet Application.· Jig fixture design skill (and the ability to design CNC jigs is an advantage).· Knowledge of regulatory and safety requirements related to mechanical design engineering.· English communication is an advantage.· Team work to solve problem happened during production and advice on corrective actions.
