Empowering people, creating technology.Responsibilities:Development and design of mechanical components, systems or devicesCarrying out FEM simulations and deriving mechanical adjustments based on the simulation resultsOptimization of designs regarding costs, performance and manufacturabilityCreating technical documentation and drawings for production and communicating with suppliersParticipation in the creation of validation and test plans as well as requirement specifications, specifications, FMEA and risk analyses/tolerance calculationsIntensive interdisciplinary cooperation with related departmentsQualifications:You have a degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or comparable training and many years of relevant professional experienceExperience in the design and development of mechanical systems and familiarity with design standards and practicesConfident handling of CAD systems (especially SolidWorks) in 2D and 3DIdeally experience with requirement management tools (e.g. Siemens Polarion)You are a team player and have an open and communicative way of workingVery good written and spoken German and a good command of English
