Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR. Your role will include: Operating as a Discipline Lead you’re recognized as a senior technical leader responsible for the oversight of technical personnel within the Mechanical Discipline on a project. Projects typically include a host of facilities ranging from water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, biogas systems, solid digestion systems to name a few.Designing, internal coordination, project management, and contract administration during construction of projects, from concept through to completion.Providing mechanical expertise for engineering studies and condition assessments.Working with a multidisciplinary team you’ll work directly with engineers, architects, technologists, and specialist subconsultants across all of JLR’s offices and within industry.Liaising with clients, identifying, and responding to their needs.Interacting with regulatory bodies to understand their requirements and integrate compliancy into the project design.Leading or assisting in proposal preparation including scope definition, estimating level of effort, etc.Performing site visits during job showings, during concept and detailed design and to support construction activities.Applying engineering fundamentals, including the application and verification of related software tools.Mentoring designers and junior engineers.
